How to use our design resin in three steps:
Substrate preparation
The first essential step of the application is selecting a suitable primer for the given type of surface (non-cohesive/porous/greasy/new, etc.). The primer material directly influences the final appearance and functionality of the finished floor. We are happy to assist you in choosing the right primer to achieve the ideal result.
If the substrate needs to be levelled, the primer can also be used in combination with sand as the body of the screed – a levelling mortar / scratch coat.

Before applying the design screed, it is necessary to check that the surface is free of pores. If the substrate is porous, the primer must be reapplied to prevent bubble formation in the design screed layer. The material Recepur Design SL is then applied using a trowel and a spiked roller.
The material allows mixing different RAL shades, resulting in an artistic floor appearance.

The design screed must be sealed with Recepur Extra Matt topcoat to achieve a matte floor finish with resistance to scratches, castor chair traffic, and surface staining.
