When preparing a substrate for renovation, surface weakness often becomes apparent. Demolishing and re-pouring the concrete isn’t the only solution for crumbling or delaminating surfaces. If the base is still structurally sound, it can be effectively repaired using the right material.
Our repair resins – Recepox Primer/Recepox Primer WO – penetrate deep into loose or weakened concrete thanks to their high mechanical strength and low viscosity, reinforcing and stabilising the substrate.
We have developed specific product variants depending on the condition of the surface — whether it is dry or oily/moist.
DRY CONCRETE
When loose concrete is dry and free of moisture or oil, our Recepox Primer repair resin delivers outstanding performance.

Local potholes and holes
Fixing concrete potholes and localized damage
A simple and effective repair of holes and local potholes in a functional concrete floor can be achieved by applying the ultra-fast resin Recepox RS. It is first used for priming and then, when mixed with sand, for filling the pothole or hole.
The material can be applied at a minimum temperature of 5 °C. Once applied, the surface can be sanded after just 2 hours. Despite all its advantages, its price is comparable to standard products.
Recepox RS is therefore an economical solution for repairing holes and potholes — saving time and, thanks to its versatile use (both for penetration and filling), reducing the need to purchase additional products. Its excellent mechanical properties ensure a high-strength, durable repair.

Cracks and fractures
Repairing concrete cracks and splits
If a crack or fissure appears in the substrate, it is necessary to prevent it from spreading further. The appropriate repair material should be sufficiently strong, adherent, and non-shrinking to avoid detachment from the surface. For this purpose, we have developed Recepox Primer TX RS, which offers excellent adhesion to concrete surfaces, high mechanical properties, and can be sanded just 2 hours after application. It is thixotropic. The mixture is applied using standard methods, but unlike common materials, it does not seep into the pores of the concrete, which saves both money and time. Despite its ideal properties, Recepox Primer TX RS is priced comparably to standard materials.
