"After years of using cast resins for modeling with less than satisfactory results, we were looking for an alternative that would meet our relatively demanding requirements. And we succeeded. We came across the Brno-based company Recetex. At the time we contacted them, they were mainly mixing construction resins, but they were extremely accommodating. After several test samples, they managed to mix the components in a way that ideally suited our needs. The resin we now use can be poured in thicker layers, from 10-100 mm. Cavities and bubbles form minimally, and we use crushed talc as a filler, which allows for smooth additional machining without dulling the tools. The molds we cast with this resin are heavily stressed – we use them for "waterforming" technology, shaping brass parts with internal oil pressure at 200-300 bar. The lifespan of these molds is significantly higher than the previously used products, and it more than satisfies our needs. Thank you."
