Flexible Crossings and Expansion Joints

Our innovative materials help you quickly and effectively fill expansion joints or reprofile damaged joints between crossings. We offer:

Flexible Crossings

Repairing chipped or cracked concrete around expansion joints in just a few hours? We bring an innovative way to restore damaged expansion joints to full functionality within half a day. By choosing the right procedure, you avoid the commonly used, lengthy, labor-intensive, and costly repair methods.

Our system consists of two steps. In the first phase, the joint is leveled by cutting.
The removed section is then primed with Recepox RS, a two-component epoxy resin that cures even at temperatures around 5 °C and can be sanded after only two hours.

Next, the Recepur Seamlastic XL casting resin is applied. Thanks to its high elongation capacity, it accommodates the movement and expansion of concrete blocks. After curing, it forms an elastic layer that functions as a liquid joint, replacing conventional expansion joints in concrete blocks.
The final surface is both sufficiently hard and flexible.

By combining these two materials, damaged or cracked crossing surfaces can be repaired quickly and efficiently — without interrupting normal traffic.

Sealants

Before or after applying a coating or screed, it is always essential to fill any joints that appear in the surface. Choosing the right expansion sealant is crucial for achieving both functional performance and a visually appealing finish.

Our Recepur Seamlastic expansion sealants are dimensionally stable, highly elastic, and provide excellent adhesion to both mineral substrates and resins. Additionally, selecting any color from the full RAL palette ensures a perfect match between the sealant and the flooring, regardless of the quantity of material used.
